How to pack

Our how to pack guide forms part of our terms and conditions. It explains how to pack, and what not to pack. Some of the more common packing questions are answered below:

Glassware and crockery?

  • 1. Original packaging + padding.
  • 2. Isolate all items with thick card provided.
  • 3. Use card provided between all stacked items.
  • 4. Stack items together tightly in original packaging.
  • 5. Pack into One Stop Worldwide boxes.

Full Boxes?

  • 1. Leave no unused space for movement. Pack full.
  • 2. If your box rattles when shaken, it's not ready.
  • 3. Pack small/delicate items into smaller boxes.
  • 4. Pack into One Stop Worldwide storage boxes.

Liquids Storage?/h1>

  • Strictly forbidden!
  • We cannot store/ship liquids of ANY kind. This includes:
  • 1. Food/drink products.
  • 2. Printer cartridges.
  • 3. Toiletries, Shampoo, and beauty products.
  • 4. Fuel, Oil, aerosols.

Food Storage?

  • Strictly forbidden!
  • We cannot store/ship any food products. This includes:
  • 1. Dried foods, spices, and herbs.
  • 2. Fresh foods.
  • 3. Pasta, grains, seeds, noodles, protein powder.
  • 4. Meat, vegetables, fish, cured meats.

Electrical items?

  • Original packaging + padding
  • 1. Use item's original boxes for main protection.
  • 2. Place items carefully into boxes provided.
  • 3. Boxes are totally full, using cardboard padding.
  • 4. Remove ink cartridges, and tape lids shut.

Box Assembly?

  • 1. Bend the small flaps over first.
  • 2. Bend the large flaps over second.
  • 3. Tape the large flaps down.

Paperwork and files?

  • Consider using our book boxes:
  • 1. Ideal size for A4 folders.
  • 2. Very strong.

Combustibles

  • Strictly forbidden!
  • We cannot store/ship combustibles such as:
  • 1. Lighters full or empty.
  • 2. Fuels, liquid or solid.
  • 3. Aerosols.
  • 4. Can canisters
  • 5. Nail varnish and perfumes.

Drugs?

  • Strictly forbidden!

Jewelry and collectibles?

  • Jewelry and collectibles invalidate all insurance cover.
  • 1. Watches, bracelets, necklaces, rings.
  • 2. Antiques, portraits.
  • 3. Works of art.
  • 4. Money.

Remains?

  • We cannot store/ship animal or human remains.

Batteries?

  • We cannot ship batteries internationally. However, we can store/ship them within the UK.W
